As the market continues to correct itself around the country, home sales in Oswego, IL in June, 2019 saw a modest increase of sales from 65 closed transactions from June, 2018’s 63. Days on market remained the same at 45 from 2018. The median price of a home took a hit from 2018’s high of $292,500 to a decrease of 2.2% to 2019’s median home price in June to $286,000.
As of 7/29/2019 there are 182 available homes. There were 15 new listings in the last 7 days, 2 reactivated listings, and 18 price adjustments included in the total.
There are currently 94 homes under contract and one listing in pending status. With only 2 days left in the month we have 59 homes that have already closed. Hopefully, the momentum from June continues and we will have strong numbers to report in July, 2019.
